A Message for
Younger Doug

It’s graduation season. Good change is in the air. The world is opening. Young people are wrapping up chapters in their lives and beginning to write important new ones. It makes me think of who I was when I was that age – and all that I thought I knew at the time.

As I was leaving high school. I wish the older version of myself could tell young Doug of the importance of finding purpose in your work and your career. I would have wanted to know that this “purpose” could provide me the ability to help others realize their dreams. When I graduated, I knew I wanted to work with people and knew I wanted to help make a difference, but I never knew where that would take me.

My grandfather was a developer in Pennsylvania; real estate was always intriguing … I just didn’t know my passion for helping others would lead me to where I am today.

Even though I wish I had learned these lessons earlier in life, “older Doug” stands ready to help you make your dreams come true.
