The start of a new year—new beginnings, new promises, a fresh start. I think we can all agree that we are ready for a return to something at least closer to life before the last few years. But even as we hope for brighter days, it is impossible not to reflect on ways in which 2021 was successful—for ourselves personally and professionally and ways in which we engaged with the world, despite the roadblocks that continued to come at us.
Professionally speaking, I am grateful for the opportunities and rewarding experiences I had working with home buyers, sellers, and custom home builders in yet another crazy but productive year. By the numbers, I had a 16% increase in sales, sold more homes to more clients at higher prices while at the same time expanding the geographic areas in which I helped clients. I am equally excited to help clients achieve their real estate goals in 2022. In the area of giving back to the world, our family continued our volunteer work for several Vienna, VA-based organizations.
On a personal note, my wife Julie and I and our two girls had a quieter (and smaller) holiday season than we would have liked, but we also spent time starting to plan more exciting times ahead where we could gather in a meaningful way with family and friends in 2022.
As we jump into this year of hope and new beginnings, and all that life has waiting for us, I hope each of you can experience some sense of promise that the next 12 months will most assuredly bring. If I can answer any questions or be of any assistance, please reach out.
